Custom Printed Poly Tape

Significantly less expensive and more versatile than printed boxes, custom printed tapes are a great choice for companies who value branded packaging. Printed carton sealing tape is a great way to seal your boxes and showcase your logo or custom message at the same time.

Printed on white, tan or clear polypropylene packaging tape with a hot melt adhesive.
Available in standard and heavy duty thicknesses.
Choose from 55- and 110-yard roll lengths for hand application and 1,000-yard lengths for machines.
Max image height is 1.6” for 2” wide tapes; 2.6” for 3” wide tapes.
Image length is generally 6” - 10” long with a maximum length of 23.5”

Minimum order for custom printed carton sealing tape (poly) is 1 case (case quantities listed below).

Custom Printed Reinforced Gummed Paper Tape

Reinforced water-activated tape is an economical and secure solution for sealing corrugated boxes. Made from high-quality paper, it can be custom printed in up to three colors, making it a great way to promote your brand or convey important messages. The tape offers superior holding power, bonding instantly to both virgin and recycled materials, and creating a tamper-evident seal. It works even in dusty or dirty conditions and is compatible with water-activated tape dispensers.

Custom-printed reinforced water-activated tape must be ordered in even case quantities. At this time, we can print up to a 10” repeat in one, two and three colors. We can only print up to a 12” repeat in single colors.

Printing Information

What Is Your Process for Art Proofs and Files?

Before production begins, every order receives a digital proof from our design team. Revisions or simple edits, like adjusting spacing or adding a phone number, are always free. If you're not satisfied with the proof, or your plans change, you can modify or cancel the order before final approval. We prefer original vector files (.ai, .psd, .eps) but just need your logo or message to get started. Special instructions can be communicated to your sales rep during the order process. No need to resize; we handle the formatting.

Does SHIP-PAQ Have Plate Fees?

Plate fees apply only to the initial order and are based on the size of the plate. Once created, we store your plates for future use, replacing them as needed for ongoing orders. Any changes to the image will require a new plate and associated lead times.

Digital proof: 2 - 3 business days
Production: 12 - 15 business days
Delivery: Typically about 3 weeks from start to finish
Rush orders: We understand tight deadlines, and while lead times are often shorter, they are not guaranteed.

What Is Flood Coat and Reverse Print? Are These Useful?

Flood coat: Covers 100 percent of the tape surface with ink, with another color printed on top. No margin or gap in the design. This is useful when you need complete ink coverage on the entire surface of the tape or label. It ensures a solid, uniform color without gaps, making it ideal for bold, eye-catching designs.

Reverse print: Prints the negative space around the design, covering 50 percent or more of the tape with ink, leaving the design untouched. This is beneficial for highlighting the design itself by leaving the logo or text unprinted while coloring the surrounding space. This technique is perfect for creating contrast and emphasis on the design, ensuring your branding or message stands out clearly. Note: There may be a slight ⅛” gap between images when using reverse print.
